Whats your favorite MAX and why?

When I came to PS I was all ecited about playing a MAX but soon after I started I hated them all I ever did was die, die and die.
After playing a Infil hacker for a month I returned to the MAXs and found i finally understood how to use them and I've been hooked on them ever since (I have all 9 MAX's across 3 servers).

My favorite would have to be the NC sparrow, it owns the air and is good for all around mayhem when needed all that bang for 2 certs =D

Second would be the Scattercannon once you master the 3 settings you can be oh so leathal to everything in the game except for air.

Third was the Quasar until they took away its AP mode now its the Comet but wow jump-jets are barnone the coolest max power

Fourth is the Duel Cycler I just love being able to hold the trigger down for what feels like 2 minutes straight without reloading

My two will not play maxs are the Starfire because it can't take down a moving plane (WTF!!) and the Pounder (I hate grief and this baby makes it faster then you can say "DON"T RUN IN FRONT OF ME NUMB NUTS")


I have found the key to succesfully being a MAX is realising you donot belong on the spearhead of a advance but behind the frontline.

this is a no contest...duel pounder max is the most effective max od all...it can easily take on 5 enemy soldiers and come out alive if anchored indoors. id have to say the duel cycler is a close second, nothing takes out vehivles as fast as it does...and even though they toned the sparrow down a bit it still owns all low altitude planes like its noones buisness

The TR AA is called the Burster, for the record.

My favorite MAX is the Scattercannon. Versatile and very effective if used well.
