I log on today (emerald) and find these numbers: NC: 23 TR: 26 VS: 51 (or something like that)

Now... hmk.. I would understand a slight change in the balance of the empires... but wtf is up with this radical change I have suffered in vanu since the start and all of a sudden we get a tweak and TADAM!! WE OUTNUMBER MOST EMPIRES!

I mean come on... I've been with them since the start and now a ton of newbies migrate because they can't stand to see their precious weapons being equal/inferior to something..

I do realise the lasher owns (at short range) heck it may be overpowered I dont know! (since the jackhammer is still good) But you didnt see me change when times were bad and rough and we had our ass's handed to us each day in and out!

I know this might sound bad but I think you should pick an empire for each server and it stays at that! So sore losers won't crowd the rest of the empires...

Yea when I started playing the game at my friends house I was VS and we lost a shit load of times, but I didnt care because it was still cool and fun and I just like the VS even if they were weak back then, but now that they are all even people are changing and its kind of pathetic to see them leave just because they are not the best anymore.

The Lasher is good now, but it isn't the god weapon people thought it would become. Which is good. The Jackhammer+Surge combo is still king when it comes to indoor fighting.

I wasn't paying any attention to the populations on Markov last night, but I didn't notice anything dramatic.

the lasher owns jackhammer in CQB IMO. u wuold have to have really bad aim to not kill an nme indoors if u have lasher. all u do is move side to side and pull trigger and spam the orbs all over to kill peeps. plus the RoF is super fast.

Yep. Add surge to that so you can get close and do that even outdoors and it's a frightful thing.

Lasher also beats the MCG in close quarters. The MCG just isnt fast enough. :ugh: The MCG does have better abilities at range (takes up less ammo, since you have to spam with the Lasher) but you usually have to crouch to get a decent CoF. Then again, the Cycler is better at that range.

When i first logged on Emerald VS had all the bases on 6 continents. At the end on the night TR had 4 continents, VS had 4 continents and NC had 7 bases?

I thought you could only have 4 char per server.. as long as they were the same faction you chose initially..

i dont have a worry in trying out all factions.. as long as you are a different on a diff server..

i wouldnt pay $100 or whatever and limit myself to one portion of the game. I would want to experience it all.. i havnt tried nc yet. i largly play Tr.

i have 1 vanu character on markov and i dont even use the lasher. thought id try out engineering as i never did that with my tr characters..

it all comes down to the type of gamer that is playing Ps.. is he mature or is he fresh of teh cs servers and looking for something else.. at the end of the day.. go out and get some sunshine ;)
