training mission problem

On the third training mission, the vehicle one, I cant seem to progress past the point where the simulator tells you to exit the vehicle. I get out and then nothing happens, anyone else expericence this problem and how can it be resolved?

Training doesn't really work, just get in game. It's a helluvalot more fun.

the drop pods mission is also incolpletable (is that a word?)
when it tells you to drop you can't because all the continents are pop locked! lol
