Outfit Waypoints/locations

Anyone know if waypoints on the outfit level is coming anytime soon? Or the ability to see location of your outfit players on the map

oh that would be kinda nice, actually I just bring up the outfit thingy and see if they are on line, and if they are, then just ask for a Invite to there squad :brow:

It'd be nice if they at least showed a little dot for the location of where your outfit-mates are... but this would bog down resources as your system now has to track more then 10 people on the map. Some outfits have roughly 1000 members.

Then again, if a CR2 can scan for friendlies on a continent, surely it can't be that hard to show which ones are outfit members if it's already keeping track of that information. Who knows... though I'm sure it's been requested.

itld be usefull if ur outfit leader, i mean telling som squads to go to this base whil u take a few squads to another base. it would be really useful if ur outfit actually acts like an outfit (like mine, tho we kinda zerg alot...).


another thing about outfits.....i kinda think u should be cm2 atleast to lead an outfit......just saying.....it would sound more proper.

That's the basic purpose of platoons - which we've yet to see. Personally, I think it's one of the most needed features, yet seems to have a very low priority with the devs for some reason.

I like that idea. At least if you were in the vicinity, you could assist in the destruction of the vehicle/forces.;) Just last night I was scouting an area and saw an enemy vehicle and didn't have a way to communicate (I was solo--no squad) other than the "/b" chan and then even the enemy would know what I had typed/said. So I had to leave it alone and keep moving.....*sigh*
