Hello all. I am very interested in getting PS but I would like to know approx. on average how many players are on a server? I mean I do not want to get a game that I have to pay monthly for if there are only a couple of hundred at any given time. Thanks for any and all input!

The game is likely to change radically in the next few months and not necessarily for the better.

Wait 2-3 months and keep checking this place out. Save your money for now.

I did the 7 day trial, and what I saw was, there were times it was boring as one can get, and there were times there were no problems finding a fight. This was mostly due to the hours I am able to get on (anywhere between 1am-6am [-8:00GMT]). on the boring days my only choice if I wanted action was do a zerg (mob fighting) cuz that was the only action. on my days off where I could play during prime time there were plenty.
it's prolly best to get the 7day trial and see for yourself.

Everyones opinion is biased, so please don't base your decision on anything said here. At least take it all with a grain of salt, if you get my drift.

My own suggestion is to just get it and try it if you can afford it. It's the only way to really find out if you like it. The population fluxtuates bepending on the time of day. I enjoy the big battles and the small either way.

I'm extremelly biased myself. I love it and play just about every night.

Try out the FP 7 day trial, you have nothing to lose. Everyone here is just speculating what will happen in the next few months. Play, if you have fun.. then subscribe. If not, then delete it. Nothing to lose

Ya, I have found the game to be in the extremes for me. Sometimes it can be extremely fun and extremely boring (no major base capturin' action). But during the boring times, I hop on my Basilisk and go baaahain' in the hills. Some times I can catch stray enemy infantry and either run em over or shoot em with my mounted MG's :p You don't get much experience, but it's a lot of fun....what can i say I am easily pleased:p Give it a shot. You'll never know until you check it out for yourself if you like it or not.

Nice avatar Jman.

Definately get the free 7 day trial. Figure it out yourself.

Download the 7 day trail before they turn it into a game of CTF that you pay monthly for.

Just today I was driving through Cery in my Prowler and came to a cliff. I told my gunners to watch this. They both said "NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! YOU"LL CRASH!" and I said no I won't and drove off. With the new physics engine it took me about 5-7 seconds to fall. I even had enough time to type "Hang time!" and then hit the ground with 98 armor left. :D
