What....the....hell....?

Ok, this has probley already been covered many times before, but....
I installed the 7 day trial. When I run it, obiviously it has to update (takes 1 fricken hour). So it's finally done, the game lunches. So it's loading.... then "Unable to connect to server" (or something to that extent), and it exits the program.

So I load it up again, exept it has to do that updating thing again :mad:
Right now I have about 20 mins left d/ling....


So can anyone shed light onto what happened, and do you know if I'm going to have to d/l the updates everytime I log in....?

there is like a scan button press that, it seems your experincing what we all had right after the latest patch.
also see what happens after you reboot.

If you are trying a west coast servers they are down for maintenance for a couple of hours.

i had that problem this morning, just keep trying and it will connect, although the west coast servers are down

i know the problem. someone else had this very problem and i had to help them too. u must temporarily disable your firewall, run planetside as normal, and then you may either bring your firewall back up or leave it down (dont know why, but some people have their reasons) if that doesnt do the trick, or if you have no idea what a firewall is, ask ur parents and then if they dont know ur screwed :D
