how do I stop the email

okay I have went into options and made sure no was checked on the Email Notification and yet I still get a email every time there is a post made where I made a post, how can I stop this, my email is getting flooded:eek:

Go into User Cp, the My options. then look for this
Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.
simply switch it to "no"

but yet they still come

when u make a post, theres an Options panel, make sure u uncheck "Email Notification"

the panel is right below where u write Your Reply:


other options are like Automatically parse URLs, Disable Smilies in This Post, and Show Signature.

yeap do that too. (just never really meantioned it)
I think what is happening, is earlier some of the post had that checked, so those are the ones I am still getting the email notifications from. problem is I can not stop them.
okay Thanks for trying to help, just seems I'll just have to deal with those dozen post, till they die out.
I'll go see if I can edit them where maybe I can uncheck them. thats all I can do. for now:rolleyes:
