View Full Version : Whats wrong with the MCG?

Nothing!

When playing my VS HA user (ive always been VS, im not an empire jumper) and im fighting a TR with HA i usually come out on top half of the time. I loot the MCG whenever possible because it is my favorite HA weapon. (i dont like TR much or i would play them instead) I dont see how people are saying it sucks. I can sit at the end of a hall and shoot it at people and kill them most of the time before they get to me with the lasher. I can also do that with the MCG but the people usually get closer to me. I can usually kill someone with the MCG before the COF boon.

you have to be more accurate with the MCG then w/the other HA weapons. it handles surprisingly well while agile/surged.

the bloom remains manageable.

Surge>crouch>burst>surge>crouch>burst In midfield... like between Itan and Kaang the MCG totally pwns. Sniper/MCG can stay out in the field along damn time. IMO it's the best weapon for battles right along the edge of the SOI. Now if i had a script that let me crouch and surge is off and when i stand and run its on. That would take alot of key managment out of it.

I just bound f as my hotkey #2 (Surge) Key. It's easy to use :nod:

I don't see why TR are still complaining about MCG. It's lovely now. I always loot one. Hmmm...I just noticed. NC are the only empire whose AR and HA weapons don't share the same ammo! Lasher and Pulsar have Energy rounds, and MCG and Cycler have 9mm! It's a consiracy!

lol...but a shotgun-assault rifle would be pretty funny (and scary)
