A competent commander for the Mighty Terran Republic

His name is Mugen of HMX-1.

The squad of Dragonwolves I was with early this morning/late last night had the honor of starting a raid on Oshur with Mugen commanding. I asked him what he would like our squad to do, and he gave us the assignment of holding a tower at the start of the raid. We held the tower and then were assigned to be a part of a spearhead into the heart of Oshur. We controled 90% of Oshur when he left, the only base under Vanu control was Dahaka, located directly outside of the Vanu Sanctuary warpgate. This done with the Lasher as the Vanu's main support weapon at this time.

We also had the pleasure of being in Arakiels crosshairs most of the night. I would love to read what he thought of the TR raid on Oshur last night.

All in all, there is hope for the Terran Republic now that we have at least one competent commander here. I know that there are several others, but we have yet to coordinate a raid with these commanders.

I got there by the time you were to Dahaka and was only on for about a half hour before they brought the servers down, so I didn't really catch much action.

yep mugen does do a good job in trying to rally the TR players as a whole, and he tries he really tries. i always tell him, stop relying on PUBLICs to do raids and stuff, you need to organize with outfits that really have control and organization but, he still has faith left in the TR zerg :). and i am truly happy for him. i for one try to avoid the *public* TR players that arent affiliated with the outfits that i work with specifically. soi really dont want liek working with people that i cannot rely on or have not talked to personally before and feel that they can do the job if i needed them there.

but everyone has different approaches :)

Yep, he is doing a good job. And I like the fact that he is trying to use the public zerg. That way they know where to go instead of the usual clueless direction they go in.

he is good, but I haven't seen him in a while. He's the first really good commander of any server, any empire that I know of. GWB is legendary for sitting at the sanc and barking orders at people. And we all know Malone's sad, sad story. Every time he says somethign I send him tell saying some stupid shit about his ultra small penis size.

I know that last week when I logged in to play I did a /who Mugen and he was on Cyssor somewhere. That was Wednesday night. So he's around, probably just flying under the radar though.
