Is now the time to return to PS?

I've been itching to return to PS and play with my outfit again. But I've heard reports of it being extremely unbalanced and having new bigs introduced etc. Is now the time to return? Or should I wait a few weeks?

If your a barney, yeah, come back now, the VS are on the top of the heap with their all purpose weapons, if your anyone else, give it a few weeks till the lasher gets nerfed or you'll drive yourself insane.

Edit: where, exactly am i whining, it's a simple observation, fighting barneys is frustrating, and they lasher will almost certainly have it's effectiveness reduced in some way, your chasing shadows.

Stop complaining about the weapons ffs. It doesn't matter, it's just going to mean harder fights and what not. I frankly couldn't give a shit if it's nerfed or not, it makes the barneys formidable oponents in my eyes.

Yeah, changes happen and its actually keeping the game interesting for me as I play thru them all. I say come back and stick for awhile.

No whiner here. More like a person who was able to play flawlessly in beta abd since beta has seen a bug that requires a restart of his computer to fix happen more and more often with every patch. I literally can't play the game for longer than 5 minutes since the last patch which means I pretty much don't play anymore except for occasional tests to see if the bug has been fixed ;)

Meh, I'm sure it'll get fixed, it'll probably just be awhile :p

Ironically, as diametrically opposed as we are about PS, we seem to have the same problem.

I think it's your guys' PCs. I've never heard of that problem. I mean sure every couple of days I'll crsh to desktop, it get's annoying, but not every 5 minutes

Not a CTD. I like to use the phrase "goes apeshit" to describe more accurately what happens. You see I really can't think of a better way to describe it. The game doesn't lock and doesnt drop me. What instead happens is my FPS drop to about 1.5ish and everything starts to appear and dissappear randomly. Now when I say everything I mean literally everything. People, vehicles, rocks, trees, the friggin ground, water, buildi...well you get the idea. Tracers also show as endless lines instead of short lines (which has allowed for some spiffy screenshots I might add). I can still alt-tab and can even start other programs. My memory is a little under half free when this happens (I have 768). In order to fix it I have to restart my computer since closing the program and restarting it doesn't fix it.

Needless to say this makes the game unplayable hence I've been wasting tim on Elite Force 2 and FF tactics (old school baby). Really wish they at least respond to me on the tech forums but the OF tech forum is so ful of crap I don't really have high hopes on that. Hopefully they'll patch whatever it is that starting causing this though.
