Im pretty happy god-less. got my comp, my friends/family, eventually a signifigant other... i dont need an all-mighty being to lookout for. if im gunna piss someone/something off, id really rather it be a fair fight, where if I loose, i face a broken bone, instead of eternal damnation.(sp?)

you don't face eternal damnation for broken bones. the question is:

if you got in a fight, lost, and was killed, what do you think will happen when you die?

not a flame or anything, i've just always enjoyed hearing why atheists choose to continue existing (i haven't heard a real reason yet...)

That usually includes my GFs too if things are serious and also includes family and anything else worth the cause. I'm not afraid of dying, i am afraid of losing people i can help though.

An atheist would probably say they cease to exist, kinda like when you turn off the TV, poof, everything gone and you are no more in any shape or form.

*note, it's not like paranirvana like buddhists are aiming for.

As for living, why not live? Might aswell make the best of the time on earth.
