You guys may have been wondering where I have been (but probably not :tear: ) But either way, I have myself a new project. :D I will be modding this case. I already have it and I will post a log of how it is going on this thread. Since my Digital Cam is misbehaving, a picture from the retailer will have to do for the before pic right now:

It is going to be a yellow and black tribal theme. Stay tuned for more details. ;)
PS: Here is the link to the case, if you where curious. :)

Thanks Squeeky, i'm gonna need it. :) I used my lunch break to go buy the spray paint, primer, clear coat, and sanding bits, hopefully I can get that ugly stock paint off this evening and start the painting proscess. :D

Make sure to post a link to the final project, I love seeing case mods...
If I could give you one piece of advice, all the time you spend on sanding is not wasted, the more time you spend on sanding the better the final product will look. I am not sure what type of paint you will use, but if it recommends that you sand between layers do it, it REALLY makes the difference between a glass-like finish and a bumpy nasty finish.

For some ideas and just shootin' the breeze on case moddin' and computer things in general, get to www.pimprig.com . BTW if you are going with a tribal theme those guys have PIMP Tribal Fan Grills that you should definently take a look at for your mod!

Squick You are speaking my language. I plan on having a literal mirror finnish. Like, I can fix my hair (if I fixed my hair) in the side of my case in the morning kinda mirror finnish. Kinda like this:

Thats not one of mine, but I am using his technique, so heres hoping it looks half as nice. :D

<SIGH> Stupid freakin Directron sent me the wrong case. They gave me this one instead of the one I asked for:

I had them ship it to me (even though they are but an hours drive away) now I have to take off work early and drive up there. Oh well, at least it gives me an excuse to take off work early. :D
