View Full Version : School Starts Tomorrow

Alas, school starts tomorrow for me. 'Tis a sad day for PSU.

Seriously though, I don't mind starting this early. Our calender is set up so that we go on July 31, then we get off 2 weeks in October (not to mention any national holiday), then we get 2 weeks for Christmas, and 2 weeks for spring break, and then we get out on May 31 (or whatever the closest weekday is). Then we get 2 months in the summer. I don't mind it a bit, I like the extra downtime in october and in the spring.

Never fear! I will be on in the afternoons until sleep every night from now on, instead of on these forums all day long!

Discuss how much you will miss me.

Go in on the first day with dreadlocks and a trenchcoat, all black. See how fast they throw you in detention, I'm curious. Where I live, I'd estimate 20 minutes.

20 minutes? Hell I couldn't get into the school before they would call the cops. The police station was right next to my high school. hehe :)

Yeah, but I'm 13 and my school is really slow to start off the day.

By the way, how do you like the top quote in my sig? I just changed it, I've been thinking about that Family Guy episode where they get the car with the built-in map and stuff and for the voices it has male, female and Yakovich. The man and women say the same thing, Yakovich says "In Russia, car drives you!". I believe in the freedom of arms bearing, and Democrat gun-control activists seem to think that guns can shoot people on their own. So I changed it.

:O_O: I didn't know you were going into 10th grade, I thought you would be much older. Anywho, make sure that you Perform to the maximum at the start of the school year, because your grade should maintain itself throughout the entire year. Mine have never gone up from what I had at the start of the year. No matter how many tests/assignments I Ace. Keep that in mind.

i start the 10th grade on the 23rd or something like that. about the trench coat, i doubt they would do anything. the only kids in my school who start trouble are usually potheads getting in fights. there are a lot of goth looking people with those wierd pants that have zippers and straps all over them and they wear plaid shirts and stuff, they kinda freak me out. but i'm friends with a few of them, pretty normal people aside from the fucked up cloths

To all you school boys and girls: Enjoy the time. Once you get out in the 'real world' you'll wish you could go back. I know I do...

Having a job and all that jazz isnt that great. I long for the days when my biggest problem was where to sit at lunch and the big test at the end of semester :P

High school rocks...

Here they have this big dress code thing, girls can't wear anything distracting, no short pants, tight skirts, sleeveless stuff. It sucks. You can't wear any coats or jackets, either. You might have a gun underneath and you may be planning a school shooting in Kansas. Black stuff is discouraged. You couldn't wear a trenchcoat here. They'd probably give you OSS if you showed up with dreadlocks.

Damn I feel bad for you but all I can say is that you just need to tell you teachers that if they dont let you go home to play PS then you will go get a Mini Chaingun and light their asses up, or you could just eat some bad food so you can go home early just dont puke on the keyboard......

I strongly doubt that a 14 yr old is a sophomore in highschool. (Unless you're like.. 3 days from your birthday.)

Kinda reminds me of my old highschool...

just as I graduated, they threw in some 'dress code' that stated:

Women are not allowed to wear any tank-tops, sleeveless shirts, short skirts, thongs/g-strings, tight pants or shirts that attract attention to their chest.

Men had no regulations.

I think there was something floating around that they were not allowed to wear designer clothes either.

I do know that both genders were disallowed any profaine pictures/words on the shirts too.

I was glad I graduated when I did.. I have a whole bunch of graphic/profaine shirts. :D

Im going into Year 11, but our years are different to your grades. Basically, at the end of this year [i'll be 15 and 16] i will take GCSE's, the basic Exams, after which you are free to leave. Then, i plan on staying at school for another 2 years in the Sixth form, to get my 4 AS's after the first year and 3 Alevels after the 2nd [confused yet?] then i'm going to go to university... someplace.

well, same old same old. The first day of school is the same, EVERYWHERE.

Here's the class rules. 4 billion times.

Here's what you need to sign and return. 7 million times.

Here's your list of junk you'll need. 4 times.

Getting out at 3pm and driving home. Priceless..uhh.. times.
