First, let's say Im a Vanu soldier, and I kill a TR soldier. To pick up his weapons, do I have to swap my equivalent weapon with his OR does it just add it to my inventory?
Second, how does the out-of-game GUI look like? Similiar to T2? Any kind of message system or way of hanging around in IRC channels?
Thx,
Valid

Most likely it will add to you inventory if you have space, you if you have a weapon slot oppen(which will be rare), it will probably add it to the slot.

That's what I think will happen too.

Weapons don't go in your inventory. They occupy a weapon slot. So if all of your rifle slots are filled, then to pick up another rifle weapon, you'd need to discard one you already have. And being Vanu, you'd need to pick up some solid ammunition in the process, as only Vanu weapons use energy.

So that raises a question, do weapons "remember" how much ammo they had in them when their old owner died? Does it have 14 bullets, cause that what was left in the clip or does it reload to a full clip or what? It doesn't really matter bc I doubt you'll pick up a lot of enemy weapons unless you happen to need that one bc a tank is rolling by.

Yeah I thinkn the clip will be memory based. I think the devs have put enough work into it to make it remember how many bullets were in the clip but even if they didn't make the clips the same and remember how many bullets were in the clip it would still be fine.

*DJ's head pops*
here is a peek at the character select screen. from this you could probably guess the general theme of the menu GUI.
