Since there is a tank thread I figured the buggies needed some loving as well.

As an NC I just got the enforcer cert recently, and every time I get in I think of Mad Max :D

I find the enforcer to be less useful against infantry when compared to the vanguard, but more useful against tanks and other vehicles due to its increased maneuverability, and relatively high damage per shot (as well as having no projectile arc).

Enforcer, hands down, the extra person in the Marauder ends up being a liability almost as often as it's helpful.

not really, threee people in marauder on Teamspeak are far more effective :) the pounder guy can concentrate with max units armor, and units further away while the gunner can take out infantry at close range while keeping in contact and keeping an eye out :D but saying that the enforcers do rock :D

I think the assault buggies serve different roles. I absolutely love the Marauder. Its a great vehicle and can really do some impressive things with the right driver and crew. But its best suited for Anti Infantry more than anything. Whereas the Enforcer is better suited for AV.... AMSs, Ants, Maxes, etc.

Im not sure what the Thresher is good at -- I havent had any seat time in one.

Harasser.

Simply because of all the pics I have featuring a freshly mowed down corpse and a flipped buggy.

The harrasser's ability to stay off radar makes it good choice when soloing, or entering thru the backdoor. The Enforcer is good for AV, and the maruader is good for anti-infantry. I haven't tried the thresher, don't know who uses it. I didn't know you could drive hte skyguard in reinforced. If this is true, I'm getting one.

Harasser not on radar? I think you mean the Mosquito. Also, since I first played the game I have only seen two threshers.

One time I saw an NC thresher! The VS thresher is almost legendary in its rarity, so seeing a jacked one was a once in a lifetime event. I totally flipped out when I saw it too as it was before the buggy buff. I got some good screenshots though, too bad I don't have or feel like getting a host.

If there is a decent gunner in an enforcer it's pretty decent against infantry. From observation, not hard data, it seems that one direct rocket hit kills a reinforced, and two near misses with splash have the same effect.

maybe I'm wrong, but I know that unmanned wall turrets never shoot at a harrasser, unlike the other buggies.

You know now that I think about it, when I had a Harasser I never got shot at by turrets. Although, on the vehicle page it says that the Mosquito is undetectable by radar, if this was true for the Harasser they would of said so.

They Do Say So They say the Harrasser Is Invisible to the Interlink Radar Facility Making it a good Scout

I think its in-game, look at the help menu on vehicles or start a new character and hop in a harrasser in the VR training.

the harraser is good for getting 2 PPL from one spot to another, and can be used as a mobile 12mm Rotary Chaingun if solo.
The Skyguard is also good for this, and also has Flak cannon, but I see more PPL use Harraser then the Skyguard, and the Skyguard handles just as good as the Harraser. but I can not remember ,but I think the Harraser is faster then the Skyguard

I guess I'm the only one who likes the Skyguard. I like it because it's a Harasser (which would've gotten my vote otherwise) with a Flak cannon strapped to the back, so it can tear up Reavers. I hate Reavers.

I just switched from harrasser to the thresher today with my low level vs character. I'm probably going to drop the thresher because it seems to have the exact same health as the harrasser, in the thresher I crash more, the flax cannon is good even good on maxes but a AV max can total my thresher, or an infuntry with AV. Also I have a higher level vs character that has a magmower and I don't see why people would pick thresher over the magmower. The magmower can climb mountains almost as easily using strafe, the magmower has two gunning spots, has more armor, and it's much easier to run people over with it. So the only good thing it seems the thresher is good for is just going offroad with it, and crusing around the place. So if both the harrasser and thresher are good for crusising around in, then why don't I just get my harrasser back, crusie in it, and get my 1 cert point back.

My favorite buggy though is the maruader. It just looks awesome, can carry three people, and can be used as a mobile turret. If you feel like pounding people down with a pounder, you got one, if you feel like gunning them down you got a machine gun. I haven't tried the enforcer though so I can't say which one is better, I'm just gusseing.

There's a simple reason you see more harassers than skyguards, the harasser is only 2 certs, skyguard is 3.

Also, the wraith, basilisk, harasser, and mosquito are all invisible to radar.

Personally, my favorite buggy is the maurader. Gotta love the grenade launcher with a chaingun.

the thresher is like a mini magmower, but with less armor and one gun. so that is what a thresher is good for running stuff over.:D

The Thresher kicks ass for Manuverability and running over water :). But recently Good gunners have been rare to find thx to the empire humpers and those damn lasher ppl. I get mostly idiots gunning for me.

So The Thresher is the best "ALone" Heavy assult buggy out there.

My personal favorites are the Marauder and the Enforcer. If I had to choose, I would go with the Marauder because it's useful in a number of situations. It's great for fighting in, but if you just need a transport for a couple of buddies it's perfect too. I like the Enforcer rockets a little more than the Pounder mounted on the back of the Marauder though. Seems like you have more control when gunning from those.

I voted for the Thresher simply because its a nice way to get some XP, and because I have some of the only screens of an NC Thresher.
