One question: Why?

Two parts of why. Why use such a sensitive subject? Might as well have a game where you're a doctor performing an abortion, and if you forget to sedate your patient starts screaming and bleeding everywhere. The second part is why have it made on such a bad ****ing engine? The unreal engine sucks, unless they mean Unreal 2003.
Woah those guys aren't afraid of being VERY VERY non PC.

Yea, but its there right in the first amendment to do whatever they want. no point in fighting it. no matter what you do some other idiot is going to come along and do the same thing. and god that is some crappy graphics.

That's my problem with liberals, they belive that if there's no law against it, it's perfectly alright. Conservatives maintain their sense of morals, what is wrong and right, that's what I like about them.
But this isn't the political debate forum.

i dont see the problem. Sure, 9/11 was terrible, etc etc, but so are wars. We still hapilly play games about war where FAR more people died [MOHAA, BF1942, even planetside alveit fictional].
Whys that?

What many people find wrong is that it mocks the deaths of 3,000 people, not soldiers, just average joes that went to work that day. In the game, really the only three ways the game ends are you burning up in the fire, you jumping and dying, or you getting out, which is near impossible.

OK, the sublect matter is wrong, and bad, and just plain cruel. But strickly as a mod, it just doesnt seem like it would play well anyway. Looks like a shock value piece thats trying to pass as a game. Just move along and don't feed these jackasses.

They're just using it to get attention. Basically they're saying, "hey all you game developers out there! Look! We can make a game and stuff! We'll send you a resume! Hire us!"

What would be fun about that? No fragging or anything else that makes Unreal fun.

That's what I was thinking, what about all those Vietnam games? I remember seeing a game on the news about 2 years ago where you were a KKK member and you went around shooting Black and Jewish people with an AK, now THAT is wrong.
Edit: I'm not saying that I support EITHER of these games.

So blacks and **** being murdered is somehow worse than white people?
The difference between wars and 9/11 is that in war you kill soldiers on a battlefield, not women and children at work.

I think that Unreal MOD and the game I mentioned cross the line. I believe in freedom of speach but, damn, games like that :nono:
i would think it was very wrong if you were the terrorist but whats wrong w/ beinga fireman or a cop trying to save peoples life?....
i mean in CS/SoF2 you are the terroist killing americans and those are heavily played and accepted games
[i play both]

I don't think that's how this game is. But that would be ok.

now, we live in a republic ( even though your told other wise, and in all actuality, we lost that republic to democrocy because of a presidents name that just sliped my mind ) but you see, this country was founded with the idea of individual freedom,( though at the time that excluded blacks ). the most important part of individual freedom is freedom of speech, and this goes under that, now im not saying that its a good thing, no, i hate it, but if we let our "morales" get infront of what we were givin, (this country) we undermind that gift, you see the greatest thing about this country is that were supposed to be free, to do what we want, but since we let our morales get in the way, we have been losing this country, such as the right to smoke marjuana,, indivdual freedom means we can do this, but because they said it was bad, we can no longer. and if we continue to follow these "morales" we will lose all of our freedoms. its like the Stimcell research, Millions of people will die before the age of 30, or live their life handicaped because of the higher ups not understanding stimcell research and useing their "morales". Now im not saying morales are wrong, their a good thing, but when a person, in the highest position in the word, uses his morales, his rights and wrongs, to tell us what to do, thats bad
understand what im saying or do i need to clarify more?

The ultimate destruction of a free society, morals, and ethics.

They have the right to make a game, but it's a really bad idea because gamers are pretty low on society's ratings. Society loves jocks, cheerleaders, strippers, musicians, but the lowly gamer is left behind because his art tastes involve killing little virtual people. Things like this give people a very bad view of gamers.

Gamers are not artists. Seriously. I think society likes gamers more than strippers. Would you bring a stripper to meet you grandmother? She probably already knows some gamers.
