the game is planetside and i am working for a new computer like crazy but take several months and plus current computer is full but i am going to ask somebody at bestbuy if they can add ram and maybe a better grahpics card like in several months if i have the money or maybe in a week to see the cost.

Wait, how old are you? If you're a teen working at 5 bucks an hour it won't take long to get that stuff. But you're asking to get comp that's over twice as powerful as your current one for free. Hell, do you think anybody would send me a comp that's twice as good as my current one for free. Tha comp would be a tiny god. If you know how to install new hardware, do that, much cheaper.

Most who do that are either experienced with the hardware and software aspects of a computer, or know someone who is. In the end, though, you'll be buying that computer because what you are asking for is a very healthy peice of equipment.

Sorry, I work for my money. I don't give money to little kids begging on the side of the road cause they want to go to nationals (in what sport they never do say) and I won't fork a computer over to anyone I don't know that doesn't have a darn good reason.

A couple of things, if you are old enough, get a job. If yhou aren't old enough, even better. Take this time where you have little to no financial opertunity and think of a way to make money working for yourself. Anytime you work for someone else, they are going to be on your back about whatever you happen to be doing, and you will be making them money the whole time.

Technically MilitantB0B, wouldn't this "ploy" fall into your second catagory? No one in a million years will, but imagine if someone did ship him over a 1ghz computer, he would be able to stick that on ebay for $300+...

He could have said he had cancer and his parents died to get a little bit of sympathy, instead of just saying he wants to play a game. (that costs $50, but that would be his second request since he has no money)

Squick I meant to say that unless it was someione I knew who had a darn good reason. In other words, if someone I knew asked for a computer, I'd say no, if someone I didn't know had a darn good reason for me to give him a comp, no. Only if someone I knew had a darn good reason would I fork the sucker over. And even then I would make sure I could track em down to give em a beating if the deal went south.

But when the rest of you guys are being asses for no reason, telling him to STFU and that no one will give him a comp cause he was a recruit at the time, telling him to stop begging, when he made a few posts about it. Of course there is, message boards, people who made the parts, people you can hire to fix your comp, it's the same as any other computer. And if something goes wrong, it's not a whole nother computer, just buy a new part for whatever went wrong. Unless your comp caught on fire inside, then you have to replace everything.
