My friend is building a computer and I wanted to know if this is a good option for a low-price video card.

Dont bother with the FX, just get him a Ge4 TI 4600 (or 4800 like mine). wouldnt a FX 42 be = to a GF4600 or so? i think they just jack up the price. then again, i ahvent looked at prices, so i dunno.
