here's a quote from the review

"At its core, Planetside isn't expansive or persistent-it's just the same scenario repeated in diffferent environments with different people."

PS got a 5/10.

Meh. I've never particularily cared about what any faceless critic whether it be movies, books, or video games has ever said. I'll sometimes take into account the opinions of people I actually know but usually I prefer to experience things for myself and form my own opinions /shrug

Yeah I read that in my GMR, too. It was the first hard copy of a review I've seen yet. Too bad they only looked at all the bad stuff...

And how could they say SWG is better than PlanetSide? Those are two completely different genres!

Interesting.... They actually compared PS with SWG. That's comparing apples and oranges in my book too. Oh well, I like the game. Granted a lot can be done with it, so only time will tell.

Yep. It's like comparing the speed of a turtle to the color of a book.

Wait! Is PS the turtle or the book? Bah! anyway, I get GMR free and only read it when I'm bored, but it seems to me that it is very hard to get 'them' to say anything right about anything. Money is involved here somewhere I know it!
*me puts on detective hat "Hurry Watson the game is afoot!"

Demon's Dragoons: Okay I'll admit to the bridge incident but the CC was NOT my fault!!

Its funny how they mention its "boring deathmatch(or something like that)" compared to UT or Quake.

Deathmatch? Wha? How about a game like Ghost Recon? Working in a squad, moving through terrain, etc. etc.?

I found that to be a very bad review. :(

Well, the book is green, and the turtle can go a foot a minute, so obviously the game is lame. 5/10
