They both have different uses.

You use a plasma on a MAX you deserve to be crusged underfoot.

Frags I find are good for taking them down round corners.

Plasma I like tossing into crowds, or I use frags when on a wall as its easier to get direct hits on the troops.

well after some of my own "testing" *cough cough* i found that plasma does more damage to soft targets while frag grenades do more to reinforced and max armors, and of cours vehicles. remember: plasma, infantry--frag, armor

I thought Plasma went right to a MAX's health, rather then the frags which effect armor, then health?

Nope plasma doesn't go to there health, I don't think any weapon can get to there health before there armor(heh except for my magrider and other vechicles which take out armor and health at once when you hit the max with your bumper). If it went right to there health then you would see alot less maxs because it would only take a few plasma to kill them. Plasma only agrivates a max, heh not a good thing to do. I only do that if I know I'm going to die since I don't even have MA yet. And with my vechilce repair settup all I have is a beamer and plasma for defense. If my vechicle gets destroied by the enemy I basically go into kamakaize mode or run. Running doesn't work the best though if a prowler just took our your magrider....:D .

I like plasma. It really lights up the infils; although after you hit them with one there's not really a need to use another one. :)

I love the rocklet rifle. Recently I've discovered that using Frags with the Thumper is EXACTLY like an indirect firing rocklet rifle. Awsome.

Frags kill instantly, plasma lets them take shots back at you before they croak. I'm not sure, but it seems that plasma has a larger damage radius. I usually use plasma outside, especially to paint an infil.

BTW, HE mines will bypass a MAXes armor and do direct damage to health.

frags do indeed have a much smaller radius, so if you wanna avoid friendlies and have good aim, frags are your buddy.

i know for a fact, though, that plasma will almost ALWAYS kill an infil in one hit. *shudders*
