Sorry to tell ya bubba but that IQ test is bullcrap... if you look into the source it's rigged to give between 101 and 143.

And as we know our friend bush as 90 and he would probly get 140 :ugh:!

Let's just say it isnt good enough to give you a real estimate... the real one is two tests of 6 hours seperated in 2 days. Atleast in canada...

i remember on a real one i scored 131, not sure how well that rates overall though

Spider

31 points above the average american (of U.S.A).

In canada you would be in the average... -10 :ugh:

140

We also compared your answers with others who have taken the test. According to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is a Visionary Philosopher.

This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others and at anticipating and predicting patterns. And that's just some of what we know about you from your IQ results.

If it went up to 143 then I wonder what question(s) I got wrong. :(

And yes, the political debate forum. People there stick to their own beliefs and accept nothing else. Arguing is pointless. I only go when I feel like pissing some people off (example: "New Topic: Abortions Rule!" *laughs at everyone who replies*)

Normally I think these are bunk, but I got spot on the same score (134) as I did on the WASE

So can't be too rigged

134 here, but you are aware anyways, That the IQ test is biased in every way possable. And holds no bearing on your actual intelegance, its your potential, not what you have. And internet IQ tests are bull shit, as pre stated.

Political debate forums are a good place for you to work on your argument skills and really analyse your own point of view. It forces you to do research on the topics you are discussing and keeps you abreast of current political and international happenings.

Once in a while you will get a really unique point of view and lean something, even f it does not change your views. Improving your arguing skill is no more pointless than improving your twitch skill.

I took it a few months ago and I got the exact same score that I got when I was given an all day test in school when I was about 16.

Back then, they said that the score was +/- 10 points in either direction.

What is considered genius? I guess it depends on the test because they all measure different things.

The problem I see is that most IQ tests measure abstract reasoning and inteligence. A smaller percentage of people are naturally "right brained" and do better on these tests.

However, IQ is not a good predictor of success or wealth or happiness or much of anything else.

I will say this.

I had the highest standardized test scores in my school (small school, 78 in my senior class) but I also had the absolute worst GPA - I graduated with a 1.6 GPA (high school). Didnt go to college. I'm ok with my life, but everyone thought I would be 'insert amazing profession here'. I'm just happy being me, raising my son, being a good husband, etc.

About 140 and up. With some tests it would be 135 and up.

Just go to your local psychiatrist office and ask to schedule a cognitive IQ test.

I did one when i was 15 and scored in the low 130's.

By and large, most game nuts are at least above average and I would say on average, the group teeters on very bright to highly gifted.

Its a bell curve of course, but I bet the bell for gamers runs about 25 points higher than the public at large.

Personally, I not comfortable talking about any specific test scores.

That might be true of PC gamers who play RPG's, RTS's, and Sims. If youve ever played an online (Xbox or PC) FPS game, however, the IQ drops to around a 75 point average.

Hamma is living proof of this. He hates RPG's. So does Squeek. Brightest bulbs in the boxes? I think not..

I hold Baldur's Gate II and FF9 as some of the greatest games i have ever played!
