THE TRUTH! all starcraft is is a friggin zerg rush no matter what side your on, zerg rush, if i want to zerg ill play PS! There are few RTS that have real stratagy. that includes C&C generals, and i can name a few other good RTS, like Metal Fatuige, though it wasnt good for more that playing through it once or twice, and i liked Total Annialation alot

CnC Generals...strategy? lmao that's funny. Man i thought that game was horrible. Played single player and a few MP maps...it's been rotting on my desktop untouched for about a month and a half now.

well, yea it had stratagy, like i enjoyed using the chinook and grabing a bunch of men, and if there was a objective next to a building, id drop all of those men in the building, and theyd procide to own all the units around them and around that objective, then id evacuate them from the building have them surround the objective and then id bring another 2 chopers carrying tanks and id drop them there, it worked well, and was fun

there is far more tectical-ness in generals than you could possibly fathom from a few multiplayer maps and single player.

im lucky enough to have a RL friend [in my class at school] who is one of the best in the world - he is one of the few to re4ach x rank in the gaem [you get ranks depending on the amount of wins, or a ratio or something.] and he tells me all about the tactics - trust me, there are MANY

yea, a basic tactic i see on Generals multiplayer is getting a technical or a humvee, loading up 5 rocket men, and driving around with them all owning tanks and troos and stuff, one ass hole did that to me, and pwned most of my forces, i couldnt even get a tank in there to pwn that technical, because he would drop those rocket troops and they would kill my tanks, it was brutal, that was my first game in generals multiplayer

It is based on the Warhammer fantasy roleplay which is based on Warhammer Fantasy Battle table top strategy game. It is Games Workshop Affiliated, but it is notWarhammer 40K (although there are a number of WH 40K games coming out).

the feel of the game seems very strange, on foot at least, felt like you playing a game of paintball on linoleum, that's the best way i can put it

enemy AI left alot to be desired

the voice acting made me want to cry

it seemed basically like Quake, outdoors, with vehicles

the footage of the fighter flying around sure is sweet though

at least with my new 9800 Pro it looked nice and purdy at 6x AA and 16x AF :)

Isnt SC more than zerg rush? I mean there has been more pro players in SC than in any RTS I think.
And if u want skill RTS games try out civilisation 3, thats wot I call strategy!

there actually is/was (not sure if it's still around) an MMO flight sim.

It was called fighter ace I believe and you could play it on the zone. That was way back in the day though, probably not around anymore, but it was WWII style where there were like 4 factions, US, France, Germans, and Russians that all got to fight against each other.

I wouldn't mind an MMO flight sim, more..modern of course, I don't really like the older style flight sims over flying at mach3+ in an F-22 :D

Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater I've never played the first two but I looked at the review in the Playstation 2 Magazine and it looks sweet. You have to survive in the wilderness and if you come across a snake you can eat it or throw it at enemies. You have differeant camouflage you can put on do blend in in certain areas you eat snakes, fish, bugs, and plants and if they are poisonous your in trouble. You can threaten enemies for informatino with knife by using analog stick the more you push the analog sick towards you the closer the knife gets to their throat *heavy breathing* thats not even half of it... just read the review spent maybe an hour looking at everything. coming out in 2004 though...:ugh:

My second game I want to play is Ratchet and clank 2: Going commando i have the first one beat it 3 times and i still love it its coming out in fall saw the preview in the PSM as well

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance for the xbox was kickass, though Raven was a fruit, i'm sure, and it was a bit heavy on the dialogue near the end

The storyline to MGS 2 was kinda confusing at the end the first time around but the 2nd time it all just came together. It was awesome. I dont know about the 3rd one though. It could be good but i have a feeling its going to fall short.

Sounds like someone is t3h sux with the spin fusor.

I can understand why some people dont like it. It takes a hell of a lot of skill to hit someone with that thing in the wide open fights when both opponents are jet packing around at 60+ MPH. Takes some mad skills.

it may take skills, and i could probably easily master it with some practice, but jetpacking arounds and shooting christmas lights at other people is not my style of gameplay at all
