I read an article somewhere (awhile back, can't remember where it was from) that had an interview with the kid... apparently hes... i dunno, from some foreign land or something... he's got a weird name too, but thats besides the point.

the point is, the people who put the video on the internet were some classmates of his. for the most part, hes gotten over the humiliation, the kids at his school don't really care anymore, basically its OFN to them.

also, the site i read the article from had people chip in a couple bucks each and bought the guy an ipod or something. so, if anything, this kid got his 15 minutes of fame, and probably a lot of pity rewards...

I had not seen this. However this explains a video that I saw but did not understand.

It was a spoof of this kid by an employee of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim except he was dressed as space ghost. He made a set that was exactly the same. And even tagged footage of a basketball game at the end of it.

Here is a link to the spoof:

I don't know if you saw or not, but when the news came out that he was suing the webmaster told every person that donated, and something like 75% of the people withdrew their money.

I have long since lost the link, but I think it also talks about how one person donated a whole lot of money but then took it back once he sued... Idiot kid...

This is insanely OFN, you had to have been living under a rock half dead not to have heard of this

Does it matter? It is still "his party" that is suing. The people that donated did not want to support the plantive since he went the same way as so many other greedy sue-hungry people.

that's rediculous. it would be like being friends with albert einstein, then breaking up with him when the u.s made atom bombs simply because of something he discovered.

umm no, its not like that, you see, his parents, sued for money, when everyone was donateing money, i would have done the same thing as everyone else, pull back my donation

the point is: abandoning an unrelated party when someone superior over them does something that others find distasteful is pointless.

How is the kid unrelated? He will be the primary witness for the case. It is HIS "pain and suffering" that is the grounds for the suit. And it is doubtfull that his parents are going to keep all the money since it is HIS "pain and suffering."

So the suit is Sir. Dork and Sir Dork's party, not an unrelated party.

If I am giving you money, and your parents decide to sue me on your behalf, you can bet your little booties that I will stop sending you money.

What kind of retard wouldn't stop sending money.

Yeah, it's old, but, I tell ya, people will sue for anything these days. It's like "Hey, I got a papercut, I'll sue Xerox!" Jesus christ, it's the kids fault anyways, WHY did he tape himself doing those things?

Some old retired guy where I used to live would drive around a city block all day and when he saw somebody cross the street, he would get out and yell at them and sue them for jay-walking. Never underestimate the power of a man with a lot of spare time. Half the time he actually won.
