I found out my old high school started requiring all students to wear their student ID on a chain around their neck.

but we do have lil clips and we have to wear them somewhere i dunno its bullshit

its to stop us from going to different schools and skipping class

At our school, you can't wear chains, sunglasses, hats, trenchcoats, holsters, 9s, distractive clothing, anything sleeveless without a shirt under it, etc.

in england w ejust have Year 1 [when ur like 6] and so on until Year 11 when you do your GCSE's [they are like the basic tests. you can fail them all, it doesnt mater, it just means you have no qualifications and probably wont be able to get into a decent college] [btw, u change school after year 2, 6 and ...] then you can stay on to do year 12 - where you do AS's, then Year 12 you can do A Levels [all these are better than the ones previously - i.e., held in higher regard by possible employers] and then go to university which is pretty much the same the world over.

Sophmore has come to mean second.

Before we go to university we go through grades 1-12 (with a year of kindergarden and a year of pre school beofre that).

A sophmore is in grade ten (their second year of high school which is grades 9-12)

Additionally, your second year at university is your sophmore year.

If you were a film maker and were releasing your second film, someone might say that it was your sophmore effort.

Hmm well here, In the lower mainland of BC, (South-West coast of Canada) we have Elementary Schools, which go from grades 1-7. Then we have Secondary Schools, which are grades 8-12. So for me technically, last year would have been my Sophomore year, making this year my Junior, even though I am still only in grade 10. BTW grade 11s and 12s are Seniors.

We have special degrees for law and medicine.

You need to go to a law school or a medical school after you have already recieved a degree from a 4 year University.

Yea, the fact that they are sending me like 30 collage applications a month dosent help with the clinging mother, who wants you to go to university of miami, rather then let you become a mortican =/ sucks the big one. lol
And whats worse is, you can't even take underclass men to the prom. so im not going to prom ever mwahhaha, oh no im so tragicly heart broken :rolleyes: rather be with the person i care about then at a fucking dance with people ive spent 4 years avioding.
