Does the reaver have a gunner and a pilot or just one person to do both?

I'm pretty sure the reaver is a one man craft

Correct, someone (forget who, can't remember all these damned names) confirmed it was a one man, capable of firing missles or a machine gun.

It is(was) one man.
i was kinda hoping that the reaver was a two man gunship. :(
the pilot can shoot dumb fire missles forward, and the "gunner" sits inside and can shoot out of either side of the reaver with a heavy chaingun.
think helicopter.

Does the chaingun move at all or is it stuck in the nose forward all the time?

I belive it was fixed, but I only flew that thing once :x

Thanks, is it alot more powerful than the mosquitos then?
Yeah a 2 man gunship would have been awesome. Pilot flies and fires missiles, gunner fires the (non-fixed) chaingun. :)

Also, it would make more sense (i think) to design the reaver to have a pilot and a gunner, simply because it would make it the only 2 man aircraft fully designed for assault, after all, there's plenty of 2-3 man ground assault (is the magrider 3 man? ), so it would seem fair that there be atleast one 2 man assualt air vehicle.

Maybe a patch or something along those lines. Also I know the Mosquito's gun size is 20 MM same as the galaxy but how big is the Revers? If no one knows would you agree it should be alot bigger? Enough to destroy a tank in a few seconds of direct hits. A few could be moved from 3-15 though.

The calibur of the chaingun likely won't be much different. The Reaver has rockets for anti-armor purposes, and a chaingun for anti-infantry (or dogfights with Mosquitos).
Also, Reaver pilots should be glad it's one-man. Having two people in it would make it far less effective. When all functions are controlled by one person, the vehicle can move and react and fire all under one objective. Having two guys would lead to conflict.

Having two guys man two completely different guns is a very good idea. You'd get alot better fire coverage from an independently manned chaingun than someone trying to fumble between a chaingun and missiles and fly at the same time. That leads to reavers getting owned by a "swarm" of mosquitos.

It seems the Reaver is made to destroy ground targets
so for an experienced mosquito pilot it should be easy to take them down

Doesn't seem so hard to me. If the chaingun is the left mouse button, and the rockets are the rmb, with the keyboard controlling thrust and altitude, while mouse movement controls direction, there really wouldn't be any problem. In fact, as I said before, I imagine most players would be more comfortable with it.

Or if he used a joystick it would be pretty simple to control. I think 1 on 1 against a mosquito a Reaver would win. More ammo and more firepower and it wouldn't be a dogfight probably like we think of a plane vs. plane but a slower strafing battle.

can someone get a screenshot for me, I'm wondering if the view while piloting a reaver is in first person or 3rd, I think it would be a hell of a lot more maneuverable in 3rd person.

That, unluckily, is the only Reaver pic I've ehad about or seen ever. I think vehicles can switch to 3rd person though.
