Try binding your implants to mousewheel-up and mousewheel-down. I use this 'trick' and it keeps my left hand free for movement/strafing.
Enjoy.

Oh my god, I have an intellimous, it owns, it owns so hard. At 40$ its a little pricey, and every time I drop it, I nearly have a heart attack, but this mouse is, for lack of a better word, fantasterastic.

I've got a couple of Microsoft optical mice. An Optical Blue at home (where I play PS) and an Explorer 3.0 I use at work (although I'm swapping them), and I've found both of them to be really nice mice.
The 5 buttons on the Explorer are definately useful though, and it's a really responsive mouse, especially with an optical pad :)

But in response to the topic;
I've got my weapons on my mouse buttons and my implants are on H, B & N (I use RDFG rather than WASD). I find that I'm more likely to want to switch weapons while dancing like a madman than flick on an implant.

Like Eliaas I only buy logitech mice, I have their cordless one, but its a little bit older so it doesn't have the rechargable battery or the 5 buttons, has 1 side button, 3 top and the wheel.
I set my wheel to the rifle and 2ndary weapon, the 1 side button to jump (or jumpjets in the VS max's) the middle button to reload.
I also use the nostromos 50 gamepad for my left hand. Takes a little getting used to but after you get used to it, its nice having 10 buttons directly spaced above your fingers.

I use WASD for moving around and Q and E for Surge and Audio. I got R for Reload and use Mouse1 for fire Mouse2 for Zoom Mouse3 for Medikit Mouse4 for Elevate with Reaver/Mosq. Works really well.
Ah yeah, I use Wheel for changing ammo / firemode

I have really wierd macros that came from nowhere. I know someone who had the Leader of the Planewalkers' (whoever it is)
macros. pretty funny. I have one that says:
JetRaiden: Dont make me get my main !
whatever it means. its fun to spam with though.

GO miscellaneous, unbranded, 2 button, corded, non-optical, wheel mouse!!!
It needs no batteries, and no special drivers.
It may not have a brand name but it works fine. Its never gone wrong so it cant be bad.
Its cheap, it works well and it does what its supposed to. So its good enough for me.

I've heard a lot of people diss them but I love my Microsoft Optical Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. I'm on my second one and it's the most smooth and accurate optical mouse I've ever used and great for gaming.

Yeah I only wish you could make the mouse wheel scroll through your slots like in counter-strike.

I have the Logitech mouse MX500. It has LOADS of buttons, wheels n stuff... But I can't seem to get more than the normal ones to work in PS. (Left/right button, wheel.)
There's at least 5 or 6 more buttons that simply refuse to respond when I am trying to "bind them" to different actions in PS.
- Anyone who knows what I'm doing wrong or missing?
