Things I personally found interesting from a TR perspective:

TR had the fewest amount of Ground Vehicle certs. VS have twice as many poeple certed in Magriders than TR has Prowlers. Proved my thoughts that TR doesnt bring enough armor to the battlefield.


VS have twice as many players certed in HA than TR does. VS also had the lowest numbers in AV AND Special Assault. Thats really what blows me away. I knew TR would have more Striker users, than Vanu had Lancer. However, I would have thought VS would have more Special Assault users than TR did, but they don't. VS come in last in both AV categories. Looks to be a good indicator of how much VS relied on the Lasher for AV weapon, even though many claimed they didn't because it wasn't as good as the "whiners" claimed.

42% of the VS/Emerald population have a HA cert. 42!!?? Thats damn near every other VS carrying a Lasher! And the VS keep saying this weapon isn't the reason for their success!!?? Hell even the NC and all their Jackhammers only make up for 29%! And you say we were exaggerating when we claimed how many Lasher users you had.

TR had the most Max certs. Not surprising, considering we have the best Maxes in the game. VS have just as many people certed in Quasar Maxes as we do Pounder Maxes. I expected the Pounder numbers to be considerably higher. This was somewhat of a surprise to me. Looks like TR like their AA Max as much as the VS like their AA Max.

All in all its neat to see the numbers. TR definately need more Prowler Certs.

Ah, but you forget, the Prowler is a piece of feces. Sunderers are better tanks or just going all out infantry, and some light support vehicles, like Lightnings, and Marauders, and of course air power. TR are more dependant on common pool weapons now it seems.

I personally feel Lightnings are a waste of 3 Cert Points. They are incredibly easy to take out.

What we need are dedicate prowler packs. As stated before on this board, if TR become "Wolf Packs" with both prowlers and Lightnings, our armored divisions would win out. I have yet to see more than 5 Prowlers at one time (without Zerg).

Exactly Sentrosi. When you got multiple Prowlers you are splitting up the "attention" of the enemy as well as combining firepower to take down targets much faster. If you just have 1 or 2 Prowlers(like we normally do) then those two Prowlers get the brunt of all AV fire, and therefore die pretty fast.

WOW almost 50% of the VS have the heavy assault cert. No wonder you always see the lasher.

I was TR once, and I took part in a couple of Prowler squads (one leading, one gunning) and it seemed quite effective. 6 100mm cannons should blanket an area with pain; I always wondered why the TR didn't field more big tank squads.

Also note the VS have the highest % of medium tanks, while the lowest % of lightnings.

Now that the Lasher is Nerfed, you'll see that number decline significantly. Not because people will switch certs, but because people will switch sides, effectively leaving Vanu without enough soldiers. You don't believe me? look what empires are needed. Me personally, I have never had HA cert yet. Not because I don't want it, but because I have not got around to getting it. I will, but only because I want to become a Weapons Specialist.

I personally like the Lancer. It's the more effective direct fire weapon out there. I used AV till I was able to put a weapon from each empire in my hands for the exp. Then I switched to S.Assault, mainly because I'm into Base killing, and S. Assault is perfect for that. Even the Lancer is good for that. The main reason Vanu used the Lasher, and I've pointed this out on another thread, is because the Lasher was a good AV weapon too. It's not supposed to be. It's an energy weapon meant to shock flesh and bone into submission, not blow away armor. I'm glad they nerfed the Lasher. If you want to kill vehicles, get a Lancer. Or even pick up the Pheonix, or Striker, and use them. Neither of those are good at Anti Infantry. Neither is any S.Assault weapon. If you want good A.Infantry, get HA. Don't bitch up and quit Vanu just because your Lasher doesn't kill armor very well anymore.

it says that Vanu and Tr outnumber NC on that server, same as Markov, and i think it shows that vanu population droped by like, 200 people, Tr gained that 200 people. because it shows that infact, NCs population there went down by 100 from last week to this one

Edit, TRs pop went up by 300, they gained those NC as well
