Does Planetside suck anymore?

I played the Planetside during the exclusive beta test and at first it sucked and it didn't seem to get much better when the final realise came out so I didn't want to get it yet. Its been 3-4 months and I was wondering if its worth getting now. Otherwise its back to BF 1942/Desert Combat.

well, if you havent played since beta, so much has changed. just try it. but the core of the game is the same and if you didnt like it before you probabley still wont.

I liked the game, I hated the fact that it would always randomely quit me out. Somtimes I could play for an hour, other times I could play for 5 minutes.

I think that was a problem they were having with ATI cards. I am sure they have overcome a problem like that.
