Darn IFF bug!!!

When are they going to fix the bug that arrises when you try to dissable the IFF thing next to doors, but it doesn't let you hack it? And no its not because someone else has hacked it and all one has to do is walk up to the door and it'll open. Often this will cause 4 or 5 people to bunch up at a door, all thinking the others are doing it wrong so all 5 are trying to hack the iff.

I've never seen this happen but if it does then yeah, it should be fixed as soon as possible

I have run into this numerous times, but I am less inclined to believe this is truly a bug then it is server lag and packet loss. Sure, it may seem like a bug, but if its a bug, why is it that while you are *attempting* to hack the door and it wont hack, some guy next to you pulls out an REK and hacks it instantly? This leads me to believe that because I was attemtping to hack at the same time, I must have been lagging or getting packet loss because of the apparent easyness that he was able to hack the door. I still think its bullshit tho :D

Edit: Its really bullshit when some max comes through the door seeing about 5 ppl tryin to hack it, so he just blows em all away. Or a cloaker/reinf with plasmas.

it is a small bug that is esay 2 fix. all u have 2 do is change the wepon in the hloder then pull it out. then put it away change 2 rek pull it out then hack. the only probalm with this is that it wastes falluble time if your not in a inf suit

Actually I don't think its a bug. I think its by design. I think there is a timer on disabling the IFF on the base front door and back door.

there is a timer on the doors. u didnt read the whole thread. u cant hack a door. that is the small bug

Umm, I did read it. I don't think its a bug. I think there is a timer on disabling the IFF on the doors on the bases. (ie Hacking the door). I've never experienced this problem with towers.

these r the kinda things that they should b fixin, not addin a ton more by makin the llu system and the expansion, r they ever gonna fix these things or just ignore em and make more and more?

I dont think it's a bug. I think it's more of a ummmm.......maybe lag, I odnt know. It just doesnt feel like a bug.
