Anyone else offended by the idea of making vanu tech weapons common pool? I sure as hell don't want to see my fellow terrans run around whit them, ruines the theme and feel of the republic to me.

I would like to see empire specific weapons, TR's fire lead damnit not some damn energy beams.

I agree, those weapons are for VS because they fire energy and are from the vanu. I think they should make the tr maybe have a weapon that uses some kind of vanu technology, but not seem as energy based or advanced (still would be a good weapon though). Maybe use vanu technology to shoot lead faster or make the lead reiforced. Same goes for the NC. Also, I want empire specific weapons, that way I would feel like a rich man when i got my hands on one of the enemy high tech weapons. If they're common pool they don't seem as great or hard to get. I would like to loot empire specific weapons. Oh well, hope they do something about this.

there anicent teck wepons. they dont belong 2 any empire. they arent wepons of the anicent vanu. they arent wepons that the vanu designed. they arent wepons that the nc stole the inventor of the wepons from the tr and shoot when he was done.:lol:
they are the wepons from a ancient civilaziton they may be from the vanu. Or a civilastion that drove the vanu exticent and killed them selves in the prosses. and before u say *what about the rebirthing technolgy* they could have destroyed it and they didnt know how 2 repair it. like that type of technolgy is advanced for them.

Yeah, sorry about it but right now I'm really busy and everything the outfit was scdueling and wanting me to instale voice software (don't have a mic), it was to much, well maybe I'll join again later. Also I might join again if I don't have to do all that stuff. Maybe I could join a division but I don't know if I could do all of that that the outfit wants me to do. So do you have to participate on every event the outfit tells you to do? I'm in an another outfit right now on konride also. Well I might join again but also with school coming around soon I won't get to get on as much. Well if I see you on again I'll ask for another invite sometime, my scduel has been alittle crazy latly (found a stray kitten in which we had to find a home for it, had to paint the house, and alot of other various occurenses).

You mean the new weapons are gonna be common pool right, not that there making any existing VS weapons common pool.

BTW, there's no way to make a balanced beam weapon. I'm going to be using the Maelstrom and owning with it

For emp specific beam weapons I think it coulud go something like this....

VS:maelstrom but with only the primary fire
TR:A Vulcan that fires beam bullets, if you've ever played armored core you know what I'm talking about with all the energy based machine guns
NC: Beam based shotgun with revolutionary new technology. You shoot it out as a slug then the slug senses when it is near a target and it detonates creating pellet fire in a 90 degree radius. Pretty slow refire rate but the slug would travel fast. I'd say it would have a limited range for the slug to travel, example you fire it and no enemies are around, it travels 90 meters and then explodes automatically because of range restrictions

I'm not sure I like the disign of the new weapons, but htey sure as hell look alien. Aside from them, Vanu weapon designs look fairly standard. At least we know where is the trigger :rolleyes:

At least the new weapons concepts are really original...

Where weapons are concerned, I'd have more liked:
- A long-range specialised rifle, something half-Gauss and half-sniper rifle.

- A very close range, and low refire rate, but very powerfull anti-vehicle weapon, To at least make the magowers regret running over ppl.

its the type of gun where y have 2 stick your hand inside a certain area and there is a bar that u hold with a triger. kind of like that hulk gloves they have a bar inside that lest u hold it. it would be like that just dealider and with a trigger

The new weapons aren't terribly exciting. I think I would have prefered if they just added one new class of weaponry and made it unique for each of the sides. There is enough Common Pool weaponry, I'd like more Empire specific stuff.
