I am really hyped about Halo for PC being that I have no Xbox. I played halo once oh and I loved it. Just wondering if you guys know, will the story be identical and do they plan on porting halo2 to PC as well?

no doubt they will port H2 but not for a while - microsoft need it to help float X-box. lets face it, without halo the xbox would be almost dead in trhe water by now. its still in the top 5 sales, and it was a release game!

Lol yeah the only reason I would ever consider buying an xbox is for halo :P. But crimson skies could turn out to be a big hit. Actually I have no idea if that is out yet, could be.....

Halo for PC is what I've been waiting for for the past 3 years.
It was going to be a PC only game until crapasoft decided to purchase bungie and make Halo Xbox only until 2 years down the road (AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH). Anyway I'm thankful for that because playing halo is going to be sweeter than ever thanks to the delay. Better updated graphics for "Modern" computers, and a bunch of other things. Plus they took the time to up the difficuilty of Halo itself (it has something to do with Gamepads vs Keyboard and mouse, Keyboard and mouse would be able to mop the floor with xbox halo dificulty settings).
Anyway here is the website for the PC version of Halo :)

what I really home is that the xbox physics are ported to the pc so I can dupliucate this test :)

I've played Halo for the Xbox and I thought it was ok, but not great so I'm not really exited about its port to the PC. But the multiplayer was great.

I might try it out for the PC (would never buy a Xbox for 1 game), but i never did 'get' Halo and why its such a big craze, although i only ever did play it once. We had 4 Xboxs hooked up (16 players) and after half an hour i was bored out of my mind.
I ended up seeing how many times i could jump over a tank in the hover-bikes before it got me. That was fun for a bit. :p

Small attention span?
More likely i just get bored of doing the exact same thing on the exact same map with the exact same weapons.

Which is why i cant stand the multiplayer in games such as Quake, CS, etc. :p
I like the games for the single player storyline, and theres some FPS games (such as PS) that are different from run-of-the-mill FPS games.
