Need help with hacking!?

Okay I'm an adv. hacker and all but when I try and hack into facilities some message comes up saying "This facility needs to be linked with a friendly" What am I supposed to do?

You can only hack bases that are linked to a friendly base )one that belongs to your empire, powered and not being hacked.

You cannot simply jump into an enemy continent and hack a random base (used to be like this)

Also you could take out the power at a random base hack it then resuppky it (resupply at the same time) to cap a base.

Oh, okay now I get it like the lines on the map lol Yeah I'm only on the 7 day trial but I really like it and hope to purchase it soon! Thanx for the help!
