Comcast has once again hosed the shit out of PSU's DNS records. Why? Who knows, because there is nothing wrong with any of our servers. However somehow comcast keeps focking up that one record out of nowhere..

I am on hold with them now and intend to tell them to die.

Well I told them this was an issue for a shitload of our comcast users. They said they would fix the issue within 48 hours. However the funny part is they never asked me our domain name until I said "Hey, dont you need the domain name ...."

Idiots.

Its a new issue, for a while people could not resolve our website address, then it came back, now its fucked again.

And there is nothing wrong with our DNS servers.

Sounds like you need to tell comcast to "STFU n00b!" and find another ISP, but since you haven't yet i'm guessing there is no other one in your local.

I never saw it come back. It has been out for a solid month for me.

Looks like you may have a couple lame nameservers. Though with two others that should be no problem.

Comcast also is blocking TCP135 now... Excelent, stops Blaster right? Well also stops the Exchange service in outlook from letting me get my work e-mail from home

So now I have to work double time to get our damn VPN working for total computer neophytes who refuse to spend one second of time they are not getting paid working...

Normal and PSU aren't two things that are usually associated with each other :o

I can't think of a positive word to describe Comcast. I have many friends in PS who use Comcast and it gets frustrating when they suddenly disconnect.

I haven't really had any problems with them. No disconnects, low ping, fast download rate. This PSU deal is the only thing that has happened.
