I am getting a new 15 gig iPod for my birthday. Unfortunately for me, that thing holds over 3 thousand songs. I don't know how I will ever fill it up. The only music that I know I really like is Eminem. Does anyone have any suggestions for bands that I might like?

r3d. tell me some good techno artist.

I dont like the dance techno as much (its good, just not my fav.) I like the kind that you could put on and write with... you know what i mean? The inspiring kind, the ones that lift your spirit... haha, that sounds dumb, but its the best way i can describe it.

12 Stones and Evanescance (sp?) are good. I basically recommend rock in general If you find a song called "The Remedy" Get it. forgot the dude's name.

Heh, Ipods do rule. There is always christmas, Yuyi. Or your b-day if that is coming up.

edit: If you want something else to drool at, yuyi, look at this (http://www.apple.com/hardware/gallery/ipod_april2003_480.html). You can drag it around with your mouse.

L.T.J. Bukem, he is the god of Jungle/Drum 'n' Base. Blame on the same lable is good but he is alot faster and gets into other sub-genres i.e. breakbeat. stick with Bukem, he will blow your mind. :D

someother artists to check out (all pretty main stream)

sasha
the baldwin brothers
playgroup
underworld
groove armada
Deepsky
Blame
Thievery Corporation
massive attack
morcheeba
the crystal method

i could go on and on but i cant find the list i keep of good groups and albums. PM me if you really want to see some more names, i will try to find the sheet.

Good call with Thievery Corperation, they should have been on my list.

I wouldn't call Bukem the god of drum and bass, however he is the god of Intelligent Jungle.

good call, bad discription on my part, sometimes i get too caught up in his greatness (listening to him now) and forget there are other sub-genres to D'n'B :p

btw ema, Bukem is what you are looking for.

edit: start with the album Logical Progression 1 if you plan on checking out Bukem

Stephen Lynch! Hes a signing commedian. his songs are AWSOME and HILARIOUS. first time i heard him on comedy central (edited of corse) i laughed my ass off. but un-edited, and live hes even funnier. I woke up my parents with my laughter first night i heard him.
