Has anyone ever noticed that the jackhammer or sweeper CoF seems to be alot smaller then the actually spread of pellets? Sure, you can figure out how close/far you have to be to effectively kill someone with it, but shouldnt the CoF be based on where the bullets are actually going? LIKE EVERY OTHER WEAPON IN THE GAME. Sorry, its just annoying when you're a scattercannon, trying to kill somone 30 yards away with that special little exacto-barrel they have, and their entire body is IN the CoF, but nothing is hitting it.

the thing about normal bullets is that there's only so far they can stray. it would logically be impossible to guess how far such small things as shells could end up, especially when shot in a burst like that. it makes sense to me. you'll also notice that even when jumping and running, with a gigantic CoF, the shotgun doesn't fill it. the sweeper has a set spray pattern, and the CoF doesn't matter for it.

I just picked up the Scattercannon MAX.
It takes more shots to kill than a Jackhammer.
Sure, the RoF is faster, but hell, it's got this messed up spread, and it is pretty crappy at farther ranges.

I find that the Jackhammer is pants compared to the other factions heavy weapons. It takes so long to reload that if you dont kill your target with the first load, you get torn to shreads!.

If there was a cof that covered exactly where the shells scatter would land I don't think i oculd stand usign the mag scatter anymore... that thing has a spread bigger than the screen. I shoot someone point blank and see shot show up on the sides of walls... the ycome out near-horizontal.

You have 16 shots in that thing, you should be able to get at least 3 opponents on a clip. Try keeping your JH holstered 'till you are pretty close (to increase your movement speed/decrease time it takes to get to them), then pull it out and start slaughtering. Shooting from beyond ~20 meters is just wasting bullets with that thing.

Nope it has a 16 shot clip so you can do a 3-shot fire several times before reloading.
Just like how with a normal shotgun you don't have to reload after every shot. The clip feads each barrel.
