Noob vanguard?

The other day I was in an armor squad with my outfit. We usually roll atleast 4 tanks per squad so we were decimating anything that dared to come outside. The tank I was got separated from the main force a little because we were heading to a tower. I killed several vanu that were there including a max. Then killed some infantry and the same max again... then once more and finally this time he says. "Get out of your noob vanguard and fight like a man." I mean honestly, a cloaker vs a max? Plus whos he calling a noob, damn VS and their magmowers. Have a funny story like this to relate? Lets hear it.

I was sitting on a ridge about 100 yards off a base doing forward recon for my outfit and calling in OS/Liberator strikes when I caught an CE in the open with my Bolt Driver. I tend to use the scope more times as target accusistion rather then actually shooting at any one but this was just to tempting. so I lined up a shot and fired. square in the back. and He just kept on laying mines so I figured ok.. the guy is healing himself lined up the next shot and Bam. down he goes. Chalk up one for me. and I moved positions and continued calling in liberator strikes. well low and behold a bit more here comes this CE again. I guess he figured I'd moved off. even though Libs where pounding the place to high he** and back. So I lined up my shot and fired. nailed him in the back again. same thing he just kept on placing mines. even stopped to loot a pack. So I picked him off again. well this same situation happened four times. I finally got tired of him and called in a Lib Strike on him. The guy actually stood there for five minutes placing mines in the same location. and I swear he looked up at the Lib as it dumped a whole payload on him. When the run was done he was blow to pieces and I get this tell. "You piece of sh*t newb, that was pretty cheap using a lib to bomb me in the open like that. you suck." I had to laugh. cause what is the Lib good for.. bombing things in the open. So I shot him again when he respawned.

The other night I HART dropped near an enemy tower and realized I must have just missed the battle that had happened (it had a hot spot when I selected it). There I was in the woods and there was nothing but NC vehicles patrolling and an NC tower with people flooding in and out. No green dots on my HUD at all. So I figure that I may as well make a suicide run and try to spawn near some teammates. I bust out my Striker and start firing on a Lightning that is outside the tower. The other vehicles get a fix on where I'm firing from and start moving towards me. As the Lightning blows, a Vanguard shell barely misses me but kills me with the splash damage. I instantly get a tell from the gunner:

"Freaking OWNED!!!"

I couldn't stop laughing. Can you actually be proud of defeating a lone infantry with a tank? Heck, it's still funny to me.

this guy wasn't exactly a noob, i don't think....but...

I'm running around some base on Cyssor doing my Sniper thing...I get a tell from this NC Infiltrator that says "I see you..."

so I am like..ok...??

I don't have DL so I can't find the guy, and he knows it...so he spends about 10 minutes sending me taunting tells and such..he wouldn't kill me, but he could have killed me a few dozen times cause i had no clue where he was..don't know why he didn't just kill me..i know i would have if it were me.

so during these ten minutes or so, he was shooting at me in the back and shooting the other VS in the area..not shooting to kill, but just teasing us, to let us know he was there. it took me a while to figure it out(he made the mistake of shooting me when I was looking in his direction)...but he was in a Tree hanging right over the Base Wall, and he was completely still. this was a helluva prank, imo though.

so now that i figured out he was in a tree, I ran and got a pulsar and lit up every branch on the tree(he is still sending me tells btw), and he told me that I hit him once, and that he was gonna log. I hop down, run inside the base and get my Bolt Driver. so this guy uncloaks right where he was, in the tree(he was hidden in the tree well, so even uncloaked he was really hard to see)...

and I one-shotted him from all the way on the other side of the base, with my Bolt Driver. he sent me a 'LMAO' tell and then respawned.

now i was playing on my Vanu character on konried. i joined a squad so i can get a gal ride to a continent. i figured i would stay with them for one base hack. so i did. these guys were complete n00bs. they started arguing over something. i really didn't care to read everything. so they keep going at it for about 10 minutes (don't know why they just didn't leave the squad), all of the sudden one states "Why don't you just grow a dick and shut the F**k up," and the other one replies "Dude, I got a 4 incher." not one thing was said by any of the squad members in any chat for 10 minutes. so i said "are you serious man?" and he replies "well, yeah why wouldn't i be?"

i'm not joking either, it truly happened. after that i actually did leave the squad. i just couldn't take them anymore.

I was running in the open terrain in my infil suit when I see a Marauder coming along. I freeze hoping he didn't see me. Not sure if he did or I was just unlucky but he came right by me and nailed me. I figured I was dead but I survived with a few health left. I turn around to see the Marauder flip and land upside down. I just started laughing as the driver got out and shot me. I sent him a tell about it and we had a funny conversation about it. The game is so much better when you can have a fun talk with the other team.

Well I'm fairly new so I haven't seen as much as some. (I've been playing for about a month.) After a long battle I everyone was waiting for the hack to go through, so I wander outside to check things out. As I'm walking around, I notice a enemy Gal floating right above the base with its nose tipped down to the farthest degree possible with its ass end totally exposed. Before I know, a friendly reaver bolts in and nails the tail end of the Gal!! And it does a complete flip! I dont really know what happened after that cause I was laughing to hard. I have the screens to prove it.

Doing some solo action on Esamir one morning, I came down into a friendly base that was being hacked by a single person(I had already destroyed the buggy he parked outside). Flicking on Audio Amp as I came near the CC, I quickly spotted him on radar just inside the CC room. So, being the Thumper fan that I am, I filled the room with Plasma's and rehacked the base. Moments later he sends me a tell accusing me of using an invisibility hack and that he's going to report me.

He came back three or four times for more helpings of green goodness.

yeah its always nice if you can have a nice /tell instead of an accusing one.

Heh...

So, I'm getting the regular Magrider treatment this one fateful day. The guy, a-fucking-bloody-mazingly, has no gunner, and is plowing over troops like grass on a warm summer evening. Before ya know it, he's barreling towards me like a fat kit for cake, and I think "oh shit, save me Jesus." Surge goes on, I run behind a rock, and I think "atleast I'll scratch your paint, mother fucker." But to my luck, The Mag props up on the rock and can't move at all, and I'm like "HALLELUJAH I SEEEE THE LIGHT!" The driver never bothers to get out, and I'm sitting underneath his tank knifing it, caressing it, feeding it, and naming it Georgie. I eventually get tired and blow it up with many frag nades, and the driver sends me a tell, "YOU FUXING HACKER OMG... your gonna be banned tommorrow punk."

And this little piggy laughed aaaallllll the way home.

Well, I was on Forseral this week, and NC was getting driven off the continent. One of our only assets was a tower near the Solsar warpgate. I was on the top of the tower, repairing turrets when I noticed that the Terrans finally made it to the party. I ran downstairs, switched on DL to check the tower CC: there were three infiltrators and one reinforced infantry waiting there. I killed one infiltrator with my Gauss rifle, but I used far too many bullets in the process. Not wanting to see a hack go through (one infiltrator was already hacking) and without enough time to reload my assault rifle, I pulled out my knife and slashed before going down in a hail of AMP and Cycler bullets. Only when I got a /tell from the infiltrator that was hacking the CC did I know that I got him.

We both had a good laugh after that - the best kind of defeat.

I was in a friendly base that was swarming with NC, I was cloaking and I managed to get outside.

So i jump on the little railing thing and walked around, as I come around a corner I see atleast 4 vans, 2 libs and all sorts of infantry and vehics around. I kind of stand there lookign at them not shooting, but then I decided to kill a few before they see me.

I killed about 4 from up there, then one of them notcies me....finally. But the weird part was he didnt shoot me, he just stared, then i got a tell from him saying "i c u"

And I was alrighty....and threw a plasma nade on him, he died rather quickly.

Then I got another tell "WTF, DUDE you suck, fuckin TKer."

what teh hell.....

I sent him tell "dude I'm tr you idiot"

"no you arent"

"yes i am"
