Ok, this is the first time I've been seeing this particular bug.

Last night at about 9 p.m. every1 in my squad including me went LD, then we all came back and eveythign seemed ok.

Today I got home and launched PS, it can login to SOE but it wont log in to PS. It says "Network error. The server is not responding. Please check your connections and try again"

My connections are fine and this is really pissing me off.

Same thing happened to one of my friends.

Any advice?

Not sure. Maybe it was the Login server. That's happened I think 3 times to me in 3 weeks.

1. This was a short notice playtest because we only needed to test out a small change that was made this morning. We didn't need 200 folks in the test and had to get it done ASAP so our hands were tied on the scheduling.
When there are major changes we try and give as much advance notice as possible in order to get a large number of players assembled. If you recall our last large test had over night notice, and it turned out to be a really fun and informational playtest.

2. The login server for PlanetSide and SWG was affected by a main server outage that occured early this morning, thus creating a situation where packets were not being sent or received correctly. This is the reason for the "lag" and messages about the Server Not Responding.

3. Balance and gameplay issues are being worked on by the Dev team, however crash problems that prevent players from getting into game seem pretty important to those who cannot connect. Balance means nothing if you can't play.

Thanks to all those who showed up and alerted us to the issues associated with the new build.
