Hey man, I've had a question in my mind about a little quote you put in your sig.

"You first. No more pearl harbors."

Now, isn't this contradicting itself? Pearl Harbor was Japan going first. Not us... so, if we ask someone to go first... wouldn't that be pearl harbor all over again?

(this isn't supposed to have some hidden meaning or anything, I just don't understand it.)

Gracias.

I think what the quote is trying to convey....and correct me if i'm wrong Navie... is that American's should take action first, rather than wait for the first blow against (ie Pearl harbor).

Ok, i will explain myself right now.
On the psu forums you use : love : correct? and i use to be accustomed to that.

Now, I am on the Bohica forums a lot, and thier heart smiley is : heart :

Thus, i have grown accustomed to using  instead of PSU's : love :

Why so much on the Bohica forums? Because i joined their clan.

 and

I was in CDL for T2... and then things happened... and i gave them the choice of keeping either myself or another person...and they chose the other person over me.
So i left CDL for T2, but i still wanted to play CDL for PS...so i stayed with CDL for that division.
I lost interest in PS before release, and I was locked out of all CDL threads, etc.
A few of the guys came to me from Bohica and asked me if i would like to join them, so I did.
I'm going to be with Bohica if i play WoW :)
We are doing a lot of cool stuff over there now (including a new web layout designed by me!)
be sure to check up on us. http://www.bohica.planetside-universe.com

Pearl Harbor was an attack on the US by a nation we knew hated us, and we knew was preparing military action against us and our allies. The politicians thought they could talk their way out of it, didn't want the trouble of war and what that meant on the global scene, and tried make peace with everyone. We all know how that turned out.

The quote is not mine, but rather that of a 4 star General who resigned right before Operation Iraqi Freedom began. This general gave a moving speech, that was laden with good, common sense, and loyalty to his country. It's a sad day in America, when Patriotism is considered a weakness by a few elitest, who hate this country and all that it's done for the world.

As the speech was wrapping up, he commented on a bumper sticker he had seen that said something along the lines of, "Peace first, no more Hiroshimas", so he said that he was going to make one that said, "You first, No more Pearl Harbors".

For too long, the US has stood idly by, as people actively threatened her. She's the lone super power now, and uses great, great self restraint, and sometimes, this borders on compromising Self Defence and National Security. I am tired of putting my family's safety as a lower priority, than offending a country full of people who want you, me, my wife, or daughter dead. Remember who was dancing in the streets on 9/11? We gave them over 1.8 billion dollars in aid last year.

I say, no longer should we assuage other countries feelings of inadequacy by compromising our own security. All that is gained by that, is a mutual guarentee for failure, and I won't stand by and let that happen.

It's time to make the Nation's motto the same as the South Carolina militia's in the Revolutionary War-

"Don't Tread On Me".
