Ummm, I don't think you can LAN party Planetside. You need a server to connect to and with Planetside servers only owned by Sony, you'd have to log into one of their servers. You'd be basically doing the same thing that you do at home.
But, getting a regional outfit together in the same room would be fun.

i know, im not talking about creating a server, but everyone sitting in the same room talking to each other while playing on emerald so we can communicate better, and it would be more fun than just playing at home. just an idea...

I know what you mean. Me and my buddy Maddad69, we live in the same city, and are planning on getting an apartment, setting up a network, and doing Ftp sites for movies and stuff. But presently we use Team Speak 2, which allows all our gaming buddies to talk to us when we play. It started with Roger Wilco , (Which BTW, after using TS2, SUCKZZZ BALLZZZZ, ) and playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Unreal Tournament 2003, Vietcong, and, until we realized it sucked big black mama's @ss, Battlefield 1942.
And if I catch any of you Mofo's saying PS is like BF 1942, I'mma hunt you down, and castrate you, which is nothing less than you deserve for slighting a game like this. At least when I aim at someone in PS, I hit them. Usually.
So in essence of babble, get TS2, if'n you can't get a group of guys together in person. It's almost as good.

Ventrilo is much better then TS, but, that is for me, I know of a few people that TS works better for them.

Like I said, Ventrilo is MUCH better. For all you TR outfit's, the Alliance has their own Ventrilo Channel. If you people want to use it your welcome to :) We have public channels, so if you work well with us your outfit could join the Alliance.

The Alliance (Emerald Alliance) is a group of TR outfits that work together. We cooperate with eachother, join in battle. Some of you may have heard about our last Op, it was saturday, we gave out enemy vehicles and weapons. While we were doing that the NC took over pretty much the whole world. That's what happens when the Alliance takes a day off. That was just something to get people interested. Every week we have an Op with all outfits in the Alliance cooperating together, achieving one goal. Taking a continent, 2 continent's, providing ANT's for a freindly continent under attack. The past month we have been running drills to get comfortable, in september we're gonna start getting serious. No more xp related strategies, we are not all about going for the xp. Sometimes we'll defend a base, and get all our CEs to totally mine a base, when you zoom in on the map you can't see the base with all the deployables. We use Ventrilo to communicate. Our outfit leader has set up numerous channels that we use for different squads every night. In the Digital Marines, we always have at LEAST one outfit squad going. One of our partners in the Alliance, Windhund, has lost there leader to Sturmgrenadier, the NC. He gave up, and is a traitor. We, the Alliance, are not perfect yet. It is a work in progress. We are so close to perfection. If your interested, send me a PM and I'll arrange a meeting with my leader and your's. :)

you're all gonna get really bad connections if there is 10+ people in one room, connected to one broadband connection
