Lodestar

Ive been harin about a vehicle called the 'lodestar' , i havent ben able to find any info on it though, i was wonderin if anyone knew anythin or had some info on it.

The lodestar is supposed to be the C-5 Galaxy of Planetside. You're supposed to load it up with other land vehicles that can't fit inside a Galaxy. Things like AMS's and Prowlers can be airlifted to a forward position instead of having them drive over hostile territory.

When it's coming out? No idea. Check the forums here for the latest news concerning when the Lodestar should be out. I'm thinking if you see an announcement that they're putting the Lodestar onto the test server, it'll be implemented within a week.

I'm very interested to see how this works. Can it carry multiple land vehicles? Can it carry any passengers? Can it carry any gunners? How fast does it go? How large is it?

Well-executed, it could be a wonderful addition to the game. Poorly done, and it could really screw with the balance/usefulness of other equipment.

I heard it can carry an AMS at the most. probably large tanks too.

Lodestar? Why not just call it a drop ship? Too mundane I guess.
I hope this Lodestar is good. I might even consider flying it all the time. I like the idea of being the dropship almost all the time. I do that lots now with my shiny Galaxy. You need a hotdrop, I'm your man. Just make sure that I'm in the right place before you drop.
