He's added two moe replies too - mines are IFF so they don't kill your own guys (I was worried about griefing on that one), don't disappear or convert to other team when a base is capped, and seem to be visible to the enemy.

They don't have a max per SOI but do have a minimum distance apart.

Cool!

Also, they can damage low-flying aircraft.

actually, he said no maximum per player, but only 8 per SOI, therefore he puts a few around gates and one on a road away from the base for enemies not expecting defense that far out.

Yes, he said max 8 turrets per SOI, but I believe that he said no limit on the number of -mines- per SOI, which is what I was referring to in the latter message - someone'd have to go back and read his two additional posts on the thread if you want confirmation on that though, I'm too lazy tonight.
