OK, my PC broke about a month ago and I haven't heard or seen anything PS related since then. Now I'm back, I'm hearing words like 'Burster', 'Starfire' and 'Core Combat'! What have I missed?

Expansion?! Hopefully it has all the patches since release on, I've still got the retail unpatched version (Don't ask)

No, you'll have to download all the patches. We also have a skygaurd and a Liberator now.

bascilly, go thru the offline training before u go back on line or youlll get your ass kicked

You can't do the offline training, it bugs out at the driving part.

I heard the expansion may have some stuff downloadable as a free patch. WOO HOO!!! I LOVE CORE COMBAT!!

All the new weapons and vehicles will be usable whether or not you expand. So, the free patch will include the new textures and code required to make that possible. Neato.

lol, my offline training fucks up on the Certifications and Equipment phase! k, so the only update (apart from Skyguard and Lib, which just came out when I left) has been the Core Combat announcement?

What happens if some people can't afford the expansion? Then half the players will have new shit and half won't (probably already been answered)

People that dont have it will still be able to use the new stuff but wont be able to go to the new under ground places...:rolleyes:

Indeed. You can still use the gear in the expansion as long as you loot/jack it, or go and buy it at a base where the patron outfit has gone into the caverns and retrieved the approperate artifact. Then, they install it into the base, and said surface base can make it for X ammount of time. That's the way good old (new?) Dallas explained it in the interview.
