What games to the pilots play?

I'm just curious. I played X-wing vs Tie Fighter and Crimson Skies. Nice games.

Crimson sky, Il2, all the microsoft sims,pro pilots,some others I can't think of now.

Crimson Skies was one of my favorite games of all time and Msoft is the whore of babylon for not releasing a sequel for PC or giving any indication that it will go anywhere except the X Box.

I played most of the Space combat sims all the way back to the days of Elite.

I usually stay away from the more sim-heavy flight games because I prefer an action-oriented experience.

They need to add a special flying tutorial in PS training that shows Hamma how to successfully avoid lakes, oceans, etc. :D

FREESPACE & FREESPACE 2!!!! Noone has ever heard about them, but they rock MAJOR ass! Great graphics, even now, and FS2 has saweet weapons! Very engagin storyline, and can be hard as hell. Just make sure you have a good joystick! made by Volition

Of course we played XvT. And X-Wing, and the X-Wing Alliance, and WC 1-100 and freespace and Independence War. Hell, I even played Jumpgate for a year or two.

Only flying I really do is in T2. But I usually do quite well in a shrike, and if i have a good bombadier, I bomb like a mofo.

BUY FS2!!!
I only had the T2 demo for a while, haven't bought the game. In there I found the Aircraft turning annoyingly slow even when hovering still. I was hard to effectively use the shrike then, especially cuz I am not that accurate with planes, and dive-bombing was nigh impossible. However, divebomb-strafing groups of armor with the reaver, firing rockets and chaingun should be LOADS o' fun, especially if you suicide-crash into a vehicle you haven't killed.

I played JG under a different handle, but not very different. I knew who you were, but I was always Quant after release and I only directly dealt with a few individuals in OEC. I've been TRI classified since around thanksgiving. Now I'm waiting for PS around here with the rest of the displaced gamers.
