I tried the Tron 2.0 demo, and wasn't too good at the multiplayer but I finally realized it had a moderate sized single player mode. The inventory system RULES and the weapon arming animations are some of the coolest I've ever seen, especially the different rod settings.
Any opinions on the retail game? I know not all stores have it yet but I saw a lot of copies in the EB in my local mall.

You get to aim your rod :)

Haven't tried it yet, but I'm old enough to remember playing Tron as a kid... y'know with my imagination. Guess I've gotta go get the demo.

Demo avalible at fileplanet. Make sure to get the newest version. There are two demos, the latest one is based off the gold code and has single player.

I thought it was cool asaide from the overly frantic combat.

The demo is great. I haven't played the full version yet, and honestly I don't think I'll have the cash to for a little while.

The singleplayer is engrossing, and has a great RPG-style element where you can equip and upgrade various components of your own 'program'.

The multiplayer disc arena is incredible. Find a server where you aren't allowed to kill each other between matches, and you'll have a great time. 2 on 2 is the way to go, but 3 on 3 can be fun (if frantic) as well.

I'm not much of a fan of the lightcycle multiplayer.

After playing the demo I'll say it's a neat game. Combat is a little odd but it just takes a little getting used to. I wish they let me mess around with the build system a little and for a 200MB download that demo seemed awfully short but if you have some spare cash I'd probably reccomend it based off of what I've seen so far.

The Core System customization thing is cool. I'll probably get it once I have the cash.
