Hiya,

I'm thinking of taking a PS break so I would have to quit my account to not pay any more fees. What happens to my PS-chars when I would do that? Will it be possible to just "suspend" the account or will I lose all my chars?

regards

They said they may delete them after 90 days if they need to. I doubt they would though. All your chars should be there when you get back.

If it works like EQ (which I assume it would seeing as how it's the same company) you're are guarenteed your characters will be there for 3 months after you cancel. After that there are no promises but they can usually restore them if you bug them enough.

On paper, your characters are gaurenteed for 90 days. However, in practice, a friend of mine left EQ for a year, came back, and had intact characters. There's never been a game I know of where it hit such a critical mass of players they deleted old accounts.

diablo 2 has a script that automatically deletes stuff after that 90 days. that's necessary when you can create 100 accounts if you want.

Ok guys, thanks for your replies. I think I can risk it to suspend my account for a while.

Thnx
