This means there is going to be a MAJOR population drop. Many of the people I met in PS have been putting in 7-day trial keys after keys. Oh well, at least the battles will be noob proof.

Oh, my friend won't be to happy to hear about this, downloading the trial versions is how he plays PS. It will decreas the population, and hopefully though the people that were using the file planet downloads will think about buying PS.

No offense to the trial users but...good, it's about friggin' time. You're playing a game for free that I payed for and am paying a monthly fee for. I'm all for letting people try the game for a week, but the whole new trial every week for a couple of months was starting to piss me off a bit :p
It stinks that it's closed cause if you have a friend that wants to try out the game you can give them your free trial but if you have 2 friends that wanna try out the game.

I'd be fine if they left it open and had a way to limit it to one key per person, but as it was there was no limit. I don't really think there would be a good way to limit it either. So failing a limit 2 or more months of people playing for free is enough imo

I hope the moron who was selling (for $10) that trial info on Ebay a way to play PS for free indefinitely gets burned on this one. Actually, I'd guess Sony shut the auction down before he could get burned more than likely.
