Just been thinking, seeing as there are multiple base types per continent - how about making the base incentives cumulative?

For example:

In the game now if youre empire is in control of an AMP Station, all the facilities linked gain self-regenerating shields, increased radius of friendly Spheres of Influence, extended operational time of facilities by decreasing all NTU consumption rates.

But if you owned two AMP Stations in a chain there would be no additional benefits, how about owning extra bases further increased the benefits? Or maybe even gave extra benefits (by combining the power of the multiple facilities blah blah blah )

Well leave any thoughts, comments or random ranting below.

Indeed, I think amp stations give your vehicles shields or something like that

Actually no, I haven't read into it, I was at work at had 10mins to burn when the idea came to me *shrugs* I would have gone to the official forums and checked to see if it was planned normally but lots of things get blocked by the web security at work - sony.com is one of them.

I still think it's a good idea though :p

I don't think that increasing the benefit would be the way to go.

Lets say, NC with two Amp Stations. Imagine Mega shielded Vanguards, Enforcers and Reavers rolling into battle. /shiver

No, Just the fact that you have redundancy is benefit enough. That way if the enemy really wants to cripple you they have to work twice as hard.
