Under the descriptions for the melee weapons, it says it has two attacks, and the second one is more powerful. Are there any bad things about the second attack? Or should someone just use second attack all the time?:confused:

I would think that the secondary attack is more powerful but slower, and the primary is faster and weaker. just a hunch.

I am 98% sure that normal will be a slash, light damage fast attack speed and the secondary will be a stab with uber damage but a long wait before you can attack again.

From what I remember various Dev's saying, the primary, less damaging knife attack is SILENT, the secondary is noisy.

If you've got an infiltration suit, it wont really matter.

Yes, I know you become visible when you fire, thats why it would only work against the Vanu. The NC would spot me in a sec :p

If you're going to steal someone elses artwork, give them credit in the sig. Like he did for the orignal artist of the girls, he simply added some effects and colorized them. Dont steal others work, weather or not you claim credit for them, not giving credit is just as bad.

actually I believe he DID ask the orignal artist first. I cant be sure, but I seem to recall a discussion about it.

And I dont care if its profit or not, its blatent stealing of someone elses artwork, being an artist myself who has had artwork stolen in several situations, I find it annoying. No one made any money off the work they stole from me, but its not appreciative, its insulting to the orignal artist, and its bad manners ontop of it. Is it so hard to give someone credit? If so, dont use the freaking work.

Sorry if im acting angry, but I am, dont tell me to 'piss off' when you're doing something like this. Dont be a child, atleast give credit where credit is do.

If we're going to start this alot of people are going to have to cite sources for images in their sigs. All of you with a planetside image I want you to have the artists name in their damnit! There is no reason why it should bug you. Unless the person is outright saying that they made the image when they didn't there is no reason at all to be all worked up.

I'm another of those people that's bothered when morons rip things off. Terrax cited his sources (The author posted that you could use them if you cited where they came from), and also spent a lot of time recoloring and editing the pics.

Then some yahoo comes along and uses it? It just comes across really low -- but I guess not everyone has ethics OR imagination.

If you post something on the internet you can almost expect it to be used in something else. I'm not saying it's right but there is no reason to get worked up over it unless the person is making money off of it or at least claiming it as their own work. A large amount of the sigs on alot of forums use graphics that have been made by one person or another but you don't see everyone getting worked up over it. Why? because it's a waste of time. I respect the amount of time people put into their work but unless they're blatently ripping you off and taking credit for it you have no reason to be mad. Be flattered that someone chose to showcase your work around the internet.

Ok... let me clear some things up.

1: I did not ask permission to use the artwork, however I spent several hours in breaking apart 3 - 10 frame animated gifs, recoloring them, and re-animating them. I did it as an exercise for learning how to use Photoshop and Imageready.

2: I posted the link, giving credit to the original artist. If the artist had contacted me (either by pm or email, both of which are available within two clicks of a page my sig is on,) and asked me to remove them, I would have.

3: I would have allowed you to use the girls with no objection, had you asked. I might have even hosted them for you. However, you not only did not ask my permission you linked them from MY host without permission. Good job.
