Recently the music Ive dled makes a screeching noise like halfway thru song,im guessing its some new anti piracy shit but Im sure theres a way around it,anyone help me?

This seems to be the RIAA's newest way to try and sabotage Kazaa. Kazaa checks to see if a file is different from another one by checking the first 300kb, so the RIAA is spreading bad copies with the first 300kb perfectly fine, then the rest of the song corrupted. That's why the song will make that screeching noise after about fifteen seconds.

It seems to be a pretty good way to sabotage Kazaa, and it sounds a whole lot cheaper than lawyers.

I guess the only way around it would be to find a different p2p service.
