How do you change the My Computer and Internet Explorer icons in XP ?

I just got some new icons and I cant figure out how to change the IE and My computer desktop icons, right clicking them and pressing properties doesnt work becuase then it shows Internet option and computer information instead. Thanx for any help

right click on the desktop

then select the desktop tab

then customise desktop

in there you'll now be able to change icons
